Water, water and more water

Last week was ... well ... it was wet. Our basement took the brunt of the rain -- about two feet of it at times. After submerging our oil burner , it was 5 more days until the water receded enough to fire it back up.

A BIG thanks to the Lancaster Fire Department for pumping us out several times, as our two personal pumps just couldn't keep up with the flow. Also, thank you to Whitney Bros. Oil for checking in everyday ... it helps to know we are in good hands.

As the rain begins again today, we have our fingers tightly crossed.
